GAYBY BABY DADDY written and performed by Matt Young
Directed by Dan Graham
At The Substation QTOPIA Sydney, 21-23 June at 6:30pm
From the team that brought you UP YOUR BUM, NO BABIES…
When Matt Young (Graham’s Dad from GAYBY BABY) became a parent, he never imagined that his family would become part of Australian gay history. After decades of circuit parties, world travel, and opening nights, 33-year-old Matt traded in his fabulous gay lifestyle for “hetero-normative” foster parenting. 18 years later, he looks back at the unbelievably true stories that made him who he is today, the adoptive father of two grown up young men. You can call him Daddy…because he actually is one.
This project was made possible by the Australian Government's Regional Arts Fund, provided through Regional Arts Australia, administered in Queensland by Flying Arts Alliance.
